An excellent book to read is "Saints and Strangers" written by George F. Willison, published by Reynal & Hitchcock, New York, copyright 1945, printed by Kingsport Press, Inc., Kingsport, Tenn. (513 pages). It cronicles the Pilgrims history and voyage to America and Plymouth Rock. There is information about Thomas BLOSSOM and his family.

The information I have - Thomas Blossom born 1580 in Cambridge Eng., Died in 1632 in Plymouth, Mass. Married Ann Elsdon (I'm confused about this name have seen 2 or 3 different ways). My info states they all started for America on the ship "Speedwell" in 1620 along with the Mayflower, but turned back to Leyden, Holland. In 1629 they again disembarked for America on the second Mayflower ship. Two children had died and were buried in Lyeden. Three children came with them. His children were Elizabeth, Thomas, and Peter. I too am an ancestor of Peter who married Sarah Bodfish on June 21, 1663. Their children were: Mercy, Thomas, Sarah, Joseph, Thankful, Mary, and Jabez. Then we separate my next line is Thomas.

Looking for information on Peter Blossom of Cambridgeshire, England. His wife's given name was Annabel and his children were Thomas, b. abt 1580, and Frances, b. abt 1588. Frances married William Palmer abt. 1602 in England and came to Plymouth on the Anne in 1623. Is anyone researching this family?

Joos married Anne Hungerford, daughter of Anthony Hungerford [Sir Knight] and Bridget Shelley, about 1590 in England. Anne was born 1574 in Farleigh, Hungerford, Somerset, England. She died in England.<BR>
